Q: What is the point of this FAQ?
A: To answer some "frequently asked questions" about John & Becca's Newlywed Celebration on Saturday, October 13th, at 11am at the San Mateo Arboretum.

Q: So is this a wedding?
A: It's not a wedding but rather a celebration for our nearest and dearest family and friends.

Q: Well why isn't it a wedding?
A: Rather than ask our California friends and family to travel approximately 3,000 miles for our wedding in New York (where Becca's family lives) we decided to have a West Coast event, too!

Q: Couldn't you find anyone your own size to marry?
A: No.

Q: Do I need to bring a gift? Where are you registered?
A: You do not need to bring a gift! But due to popular demand, we registered for a few things at Honeyfund.com.

Q: Why are you going to India for your honeymoon?
A: We've been planning on going to India for a while and this seemed like a great reason to make that happen! We're planning on going to the nice beach part of India, and then we'll travel around a bit because we're adventurous like that.

Q: Are these questions people have actually asked you or are you just making them up as you go?
A: Both.

Q: What is the dress code?
A: Daytime casual! Wear your sandals, sombreros, sundresses -- whatever makes you feel ready to party with the newlyweds!

Q: How do I get there?
A: The San Mateo Arboretum is situated in San Mateo's Central Park.  The address is 101 9th Avenue, San Mateo, California. Parking is available on the street or in the public lot on 5th Avenue, under the tennis courts.  The Arboretum is behind the white gates, next to the Rose Garden.

Q: Is Becca going to take John's name?
A: Yes. Her name will be Becca Bloomquist, which is obviously an awesome name (although of course Netter is an awesome name, too).

Q: Do I need to fill out my choice for food somewhere? What if I have dietary restrictions?
A: No, we will have a buffet-style lunch, so you can choose exactly what you want. We will have vegetarian options, but if you have allergies or another need please email us!

Q: Is it okay to be late?
A: Yes, you can be late!

Q: May I ask more questions that are perhaps not posed as frequently?
A: You may! Please email Becca or John, or post a comment below.
